Abstract

The advancement of mobile technology has transformed the world of education ecosystems. Education is moving to mo-bile learning with the development of various educational applications. Foreign language education is also not excluded as it creates a new field of research, which is Mobile assisted language learning (MALL). Mobile learning technology has helped to provide flexible, open, effective and engaging learning. This paper focuses on the four key processes of devel-opment and evaluation of a QiraahBot prototype that works on the Telegram platform. The development of this prototype is implemented according to the Prototype Model concept starting from requirement determination, Quick Design, Build-ing Prototype and user evaluation. A total of 30 respondents were involved with a prototype assessment through the Sys-tem Usability Score instrument. The respondents' feedback analysis was done using descriptive quantitative methods. The findings show systematic prototype development and it has been well received by the user's respondents. However, the QiraahBot prototype still needs improvement, especially on system stability.
