Abstract

Smart Buildings exploit various resources in order to offer enriched services and information for the buildings occupants. Achieving security in such a context with predefined and static security mechanisms is a challenging task. Hence, solutions for adaptive and sensitive security are needed. Adaptive security is able to automatically select security mechanisms and their parameters at runtime in order to preserve the required security level in a changing environment. The question that needs to be answered is: How to achieve coherent security in a smart-building application? This paper presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of cyber security published research articles, proposed over the period 2013-2018, concerning to answer this question. Our results concluded that the cooperation between engineers in civil engineering and software development experts will be needed
