Abstract

Affordable it is a referring to generate high-performance, energy-saving building that accommodate resident comfort and maximum usage of natural resources. The projects are examined and evaluated by building information modelling, for on time scheduling. Step by step analysis of affordable green housing shows that it has longterm benefits that far exceed the increased capital costs. Using ETABS software a G+1 building is designed and analysed. Revit 2016 software is utilized for solar simulation analysis as per location of the project and for generating Building Information Model (BIM). Scheduling, Planning and work breakdown structure of the model building is carried out using Microsoft (MS) Project. The cost of installing solar energy system and storage capacity of rain water storage tank is computed manually. This is one of the method fallowed by project managers for buildings estimation in the initiation phase
